STUDENTS PAST AND PRESENT
John Pozutto: (www.jon-q.com) I began teaching Jon in 1994 when he was 12 years old. We worked together for a couple of years and he entered the Performing Arts High School (Fame) where he became one of the founding members of Stand Pipe Siamese, a hit on the local music scene performing their brand of ska-metal
around the tri-state area and Asia. We worked together on and off for 8 years. Jon shreds and continues to make me proud.

Matt Kelly: After taking lessons for about a year, Matt entered the BMG Songwriters Competition in 2001 and won! That put $10,000 dollars in his pocket and the opportunity to submit his demo to the president of A&R at BMG records. Matt continues to perform with his group around NYC.

Matt Keesler: (http://forsaken-faith.org/keeslar/index.php?extras) Actor and all around good Guy. Matt moved to L.A. and has told NYC students he has referred to me that he "hasn't been able to find as good a teacher in L.A. as Mike ".

Robert Sean Leonard: Stage and Screen Actor (www.robertseanleonard.net)
Joel Rosenman: One of the original founders of "Woodstock" and the man who introduces the first act of every incarnation of the festival. If you told me when I was a kid that at some time in my future I would be teaching one of the creators of Woodstock I never would have believed you. One of my greatest thrills.
