Julian Pratt: after 4 months of lessons at age 8, Julian composed
and recorded his first tune at my home studio, playing the
guitar and composing both the drum and bass parts himself.
The boy played with a click track like he had been doing it
all his life. Now at 10 in 2004 Julian participated in a summer
music camp. After
his performance everyone wanted to know how this kid could
play like this and who his teacher was. Julian's brother Sam
has been studying with me for about a year and is really great
at improvising melodies over chord changes and grasping music
theory and chord construction. They recently played an original
composition
dedicated to a family member. Their mom Carol told me there
wasn't a dry eye in the house. Go guys
